What makes it so special?

A comfy, full coverage, creamy semi-matte natural lipstick with staying power that doesn't dry lips out. Designed to be used as a lipstick it can be left matte or over lay it with your favourite Lip Nourish™ natrual lipstick to add shine.  Organic coconut oil rich in linoleic fatty acids provides a nourishing lip-soothing base whilst vitamin E protects and maintains softness. 

Equally special is how this product respects the planet with bio-innovative materials derived from renewable sources. This lipstick crayon lid is made with at least 55% certified compostable biobase material to help reduce CO2 emissions whilst the pencil casing is made from sustainably grown wood and has not been lacquered. This eco-friendly design means the entire product can be used with minimal waste and zero plastic. We are also proud to mention that the box is made in Australia from FSC certified Swedish paper board and printed with vegetable dies and soluble, water-based varnishes and glue to ensure we support local industry and so the pack can be 100% recycled.

What goes on, goes in

Unlike many mainstream cosmetic brands, we do not use ingredients that are known endocrine (hormone) disruptors or are linked to cancer. Luk Beautifood products are free from synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, synthetic preservatives, phthalates, synthetic texture modifiers, silicones, polyethylene glycols (PEGs), parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic antioxidants (BHA or BHT), petro-chemicals, lead and heavy metals. Nutrient active foods nourish and hydrate lips

Coconut oil: it's naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and is moisturising. It is composed primarily of nourishing fatty acids and is especially high in lauric acid and skin-soothing linoleic acid. Due to its nourishing fatty acid content, vitamins, and minerals, it’s a prime ingredient to soothe and soften the skin.  Adding coconut oil to your lip care routine will help to heal them and maintain their softness. 

Vitamin E:  a potent antioxidant that protect your lips and skin from everyday damage while helping to moisturise and smooth out fine lines. 

Natural Actives 

Gamma Oryzanol: a bioactive component of rice brand oil high in antioxidants to protect skin from free radicals, acts as a natural sun filter.

Silica: for a soft focus effect and silky smooth application by providing 'slip' when applying lipstick crayons.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, the Lipstick Crayon is 100% recyclable. As it is made from PEFC grown wood with minimal colour varnish, the shaving can be composted at home or placed in home vegetation bin and the lid (made from 55% plant based plastics) can be dropped into Terracycle as the piece is too small for kerbside recycling.
